Another Death Anniversary

June 1 is the death anniversary of my first teacher. Gussie Feldman died in the late afternoon of June1, 1955. Seventeen years later, I was thirty and her student Harriet Feldman held a telepathic ceremony during which Gussie’s final wishes were made known to me. As I approach another death anniversary, I recapitulate the sadness and the loneliness of her death.
